Join Alexandria Mayor Allison Silberberg, Maury Principal Lucretia Jackson, the organizers of Maury’s “Blessings in a Backpack” program and the greater Maury community Thursday at 8 a.m. in front of Maury to celebrate National Blessings in a Backpack Day!
This fantastic program helps make sure that eligible students are fed on the weekends throughout the school year. Mayor Silberberg and Ms. Jackson will say a few words about the program and we will be taking food donations.
