MESSAGE SIZES FOR YEARBOOK

If you’re designing your own message, please make it as close to the size listed here as you can. If you don’t know how to do that, just guesstimate and try to make it the same shape you see below. (There will be white space around each message and they won’t go off the edge of the page, so no “bleeds” please.)

FAQ:

Do my artwork or photos need to be ready before I order?

No! After your purchase, you can email your photos or artwork when ready to [email protected]  We just ask that all orders and ad files are in our hands by March 31.

Can I get a full-page ad for my 3rd grader?

Full-page ads are only an option for 5th-grade students. Students in K-4 may get any other size: 1/8, 1/4 or 1/2 page.

I have a few students at Brooks – should I buy multiple ads?

You are free to include all your students in one ad or you can purchase separate ads. Parents do both!

What file format should I send and where do I send that?

All of that information is listed above on this page.

Can I design my ad in Canva?

Yes! The PTA has created ad templates for all possible sizes on Canva – see the Canva Template links above on this page.

What if a Brooks family doesn’t have the resources to purchase an ad for their student?

We work with the school’s social worker to provide ads for graduating 5th graders whose families may not have the resources to purchase an ad themselves.
